emma steps up to join OCC alongside other innovators and business leaders
It has always been emma’s vision to democratize cloud use – we firmly believe that access to cloud technology should not be limited to companies with huge budgets, or only the ones that are household names. We strive to make cloud accessible to enterprises all over the world, whatever the size.
It is now with great delight that we have stepped up to join the Open Cloud Coalition (OCC), alongside other innovators and business leaders whose visions align with ours.
Launched in October 2024 with an aim to improve competition, transparency, and resilience in the cloud industry, OOC formed as a new alliance of leading cloud providers and users. Today, emma is proud to count ourselves among them.
Founder and CEO of emma Dmitry Panenkov said, “emma is delighted to become a member of OCC. Our fully agnostic cloud management platform enables companies of all sizes to access cloud resources and services freely, without being constrained to specific providers or environments.”
The introduction of such a coalition is more vital now than ever – with changing governance and leadership impacting companies all over the world, assured privacy and security is crucial. More customers are seeking greater control over their data, and by extension, their cloud environments.
Compliance is at the top of the agenda for many, with the UK’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the EU Data Sovereignty setting the bar for how data is used and shared. Here, cloud management solutions such as emma allows users to control their entire cloud environment, and ensure regulatory compliance while benefiting from choice.
