Kubernetes is an open-source container orchestration platform that automates the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. DevOps teams widely use it to run microservices at scale across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Deploying Kubernetes doesn’t have to be complex. With the emma platform, you can set up and manage clusters across multiple cloud providers and regions in just a few clicks. Here’s how it works:
Begin by navigating to All Projects in your emma dashboard. Choose your project, go to the Kubernetes section, and click Add Cluster.
Next, pick a Cluster deployment location. You can also provide a unique name for your Kubernetes cluster. This name will help you identify and manage your clusters easily.
Here, you can simply add individual worker nodes, and optionally, create autoscaling groups.

To add a worker node, emma gives you two options:
For manual configuration, choose your preferred location and cloud provider. Adjust CPU type, CPU count, and memory, as needed.
Available deployment options with your specified configurations will be displayed on the right list, sorted by price. Choose an instance and click Add Node.
If you need multiple nodes with the same configuration, just specify the number of nodes on the node tile.
Repeat Step 2 to add more nodes, across as many regions and providers as needed.
Click Create Kubernetes cluster, and the order is successfully placed!
